On Friday, January 9th at Walnut Woods State Park we will gather for our annual celebration of the season of Epiphany with our Burning of the Greens party. Epiphanytide is the short season of the calendar where we celebrate the manifestation or “appearing” of Christ. This is a season of proclamation where the Church is invited to “come and see” the beauty of the light of Christ and then to “go and tell” a world in need of His light and life.

At our Epiphany party we burn all of our leftover greens from Christmas, so save your Christmas trees and greenery and bring them to our Burning of the Greens celebration.
